Tauira will gain practical skills in writing and interview techniques including identifying valid, reliable and authentic sources.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CC5002 Creating Media Content <br \/>Course Type: Core<\/h3>\r\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong> \u2018Whiria te tangata, whiria te reo\u2019 &#8211; \u2018Weave the people together so that they may connect under the same language\u2019.<\/p>\r\n<p>The k\u014dwae ako will provide an introduction to the creation and production of a range of media platforms including radio broadcasting, social media, and\/or podcasting. Tauira will focus on applying te reo M\u0101ori and tikanga in the production of content.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CC5003 Business Practices for Production <br \/>Course Type: Core<\/h3>\r\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong> \u2018He toi whakairo, he mana tangata\u2019 &#8211; \u2018Where there is artistic excellence, there is mana tangata\u2019.<\/p>\r\n<p>The k\u014dwae ako will provide an overview of multimedia and social media platforms within either the iwi or another radio broadcasting environment. It will cover content creation, digital tools, regulatory frameworks, and marketing strategies essential for effective engagement and sustainability in the digital age<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CC5004 Applied Broadcasting <br \/>Course Type: Core<\/h3>\r\n<p>Description: \u2018He tangata k\u012b tahi\u2019 &#8211; \u2018A person of a few words\u2019<\/p>\r\n<p>The k\u014dwae ako is a culmination of the whole programme and is designed to showcase the knowledge and skills of the tauira in a M\u0101ori and\/or non-M\u0101ori radio broadcasting environment.
