The NZ Radio Training School (NZRTS) is one of the most respected radio training schools in New Zealand and came under the custodianship of Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi, from Whitireia in 2020.
To honour the new relationship, Distinguished Professor Sir Hirini Moko Mead, Kaumātua advisor to the Awanuiārangi Council and former Chair, has blessed the School with a te reo Māori name: “Te Poutairanga Pāho o te Motu”
